Work Wednesday: Silverware & Counting

Work can always be enjoyable! I loved to assign the youngest in the family to be the official "putter awayer” of silverware after it had been washed.

After she sorted it into forks, knives and spoons we would count together as each fork was put into the utensil divider . . . one, two three, four . . .  Then the same with the knives & spoons, counting each one as they were put into the dividers.

Soon the child will be counting on their own as they sort and put away the silverware - and you will be smiling.
