Mealtime Monday: Somewhere Over the Rainbow


This dinner can help your kids try new foods in a clever way (mom & dad too?). Find foods for dinner that match every color of the rainbow…you know…Roy G Biv!

R= red: apples, pomegranates, beets, cherries, raspberries, radishes, strawberries, tomatoes, watermelon
O= orange: orange peppers, apricots, butternut squash, papaya, peaches, carrots, mangos, yams, pumpkin muffins
Y= yellow: corn, yellow apples, pears, yellow peppers, yellow potatoes
G= green: asparagus, broccoli, celery, peas, green beans, kiwi, cucumbers, spinach, green lettuces
BI= blue/indigo= blueberries, blackberries, blue potatoes, blue corn chips, 
V= violet: grapes, eggplant, purple cabbage, raisins, purple lettuce
