Work Wednesday: "My little baker"

  What is it about cooking in the kitchen that draws kids in? Little E always asks to sit up on the counter so she can watch what I'm doing. Just the other day,while making sugar cookies, she started a flour fight with me!
   For Christmas I made her a darling little apron and bought her a mini wisk. Hopefully this will help her feel included, and promote her love of cooking. She can watch me put on my apron, and pull hers on, while feeling important and included. Plus, I have a feeling it will help her feel more inclined to help me with kitchen chores, like sweeping up and putting away the silverware.
