This cute, bear-covered "Growing Up" poster is hanging in my mom's kitchen. Yes, adorable bears were a 90's thing, and so this bright poster may not match the rest of my mom's stylish kitchen. But... there are many memories in this poster. It's one of those unifying things that reminds my siblings and me of our common ground, and our growth together (in height and in memories.)
Now, here is my sweetie, with her "give me your best smile" face. I made this classic "ruler-style" measuring board after seeing some on different blogs. Since we know we'll move a couple times while the girls are growing up, this is a good alternative to measuring on a wall. I hope she, and her siblings can look forward to "measuring days," and can be proud of their growth.
